Castle Creations have released firmware updates for their Mamba line of speed controllers as well as for their Castle Link USB programmer. The v1.33 firmware for the Mamba 25, Mamba Micro Pro, Mamba Max, Mamba Max Pro and Mamba Monster series ESCs features the following improvements and fixes:

- Bug fix: Mamba Max Pro excessively limited motor start power at high input voltages (6S LiPo input)
- Reliability Improvement: ESC could damage itself trying to start a motor with a stuck rotor. Added failed start timeout.
- Reliability Improvement: Mamba Max Pro thermal limit would not always protect ESC. Fixed.
- Reliability Improvement: Added further protection agains flash corruption which can cause ESC to become unresponsive

The v1.33 software is included in Castle's latest Castle Link software update v3.51.05
